Tick My Box was born from a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves a safe space to build genuine connections. As the co-founder of Tick My Box, I wanted to create more than just another dating platform. My vision was to build a community where people could meet with confidence, whether they were looking for friendship, love, meaningful conversations, networking opportunities, or simply a place where they felt they belonged. The journey started with women. I envisioned a welcoming environment where women could attend events, meet like-minded people, and build authentic, long-lasting friendships in a safe and supportive setting. As the idea grew, so did the vision. I realised there was an opportunity to create that same sense of belonging for everyone—including men and the LGBTQ+ community—through dating experiences, social events, networking opportunities, and mix-and-mingle gatherings that encourage real, meaningful connections. The name Tick My Box came from a thought that many of us have when meeting someone new. Whether we're looking for a friend, a business connection, or a life partner, we all hope to find someone who shares our values, understands us, and simply ticks all the right boxes. That idea became the heart of our brand. Tick My Box is about bringing people together in a genuine way. It's about creating opportunities for real conversations, memorable experiences, and relationships that extend far beyond a swipe on a screen. Our community is built on safety, respect, inclusivity, and authenticity, ensuring every member feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to be themselves. This is only the beginning.
